GIGO FMRP USP develops research on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of gynecologic neoplasms — from clinical and translational research to evidence synthesis — and trains researchers who care for women with gynecologic cancer.

Mission
The Gynecologic Oncology Research Group develops research to expand knowledge on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, prehabilitation and rehabilitation of gynecologic neoplasms, integrating clinical, translational, epidemiological and health-services research. Its activities contribute to identifying biomarkers, evaluating new diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitation strategies, refining surgical techniques, and generating evidence for precision medicine and evidence-based clinical practice.
